Wat'er you eating?

Time: Tuesday, April 25, 2017 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM PDT

Location: Crown Fireside Lounge

This program will be a PRESENTATION to educate people on food miles and how much water is used to produce the various foods we eat. If people are trying to save water, it goes with the types of food they’re eating too. I will be displaying signs near fruits, nuts and veggies to show how much water is used to grow each food and alternatives to eat instead. When we think of water conservation, it’s not just about turning the faucet off when brushing your teeth or taking shorter showers. It’s about other life choices we make in our everyday lives. I will also be creating infographics about food miles and where to locally source your food.
