The Santa Cruz Wharf extends a half-mile out to sea in a dynamic and truly marine environment. Scientists at the University of California Santa Cruz utilize this easy access to ocean ecosystems to conduct research in sustainable energy, biological oceanography, harmful algal blooms, and marine mammals. This 30-minute guided tour offers insights into one of the longest wooden piers in the United States.
We will meet at 12 PM at the Crown Fountain to take the bus to the pier!
